Why Your Participation Matters

We know e-cigarettes and vapes are a part of many young adults’ lives, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about how people actually use them day to day.

That’s where you come in.

This study isn’t about telling you to quit or judging your choices. We’re interested in real experiences — whether you keep using, cut back, switch products, or stop completely.

By checking in every day, you help us understand things like:

  • Do flavors, nicotine levels, or device types change how often people vape?

  • What happens when someone switches products or tries to quit?

  • How do patterns shift from day to day, or across a few months?

Most big surveys only ask people to remember what they did in the past 30 days. That misses a lot of details. Your daily updates give us a much more accurate picture, like whether you tend to vape more in the morning, at night, or on stressful days.

The details you share will help improve how vaping is studied in the future and give public health agencies better information to support young adults. Even small pieces of your story matter — together, they add up to a bigger picture we can’t see without you.
